The Los Angeles Lakers isn’t just any old NBA Franchise. When you mention the purple and gold you think of winning, consistency and super stars. As of right now, the Lakers are lacking in each of the categories mentioned.  I know they don’t look like much now. But the Lakers are arguably the greatest sports franchise of all time! Yes, over the New York Yankees, St. Louis Cardinals and their NBA long time rival the Boston Celtics. The Late great Dr. Jerry Buss figured out a winning formula.

History tells us that the Lakers alongside the Boston Celtics made the NBA a must watch T.V. program because of the show the superstars put on for the fans. And no one put on a show like the Show-Time Lakers.

The Lakers have won 16 championships and produced 23 Hall of Famers outside the Celtics. The Lakers are unmatched.

Why are the Lakers at their all time worse? The Lakers are lacking in one thing that they have always had to work with, a Super Star!

At the end of the Kobe’s era, who won two championships alongside Pau Gasol, the future wasn’t looking so bright for this franchise. Maybe, its because there aren’t any bright stars leading the way.

The Lakers have decided to put their trust in the young four: D’Angelo Russell, who has Ice in his veins, Jordan Clarkson who Kobe taught to always keep his guards up, Julius Randle who is the heart and soul of this team, and the rookie Brandon Ingram who hasn’t quite lifted weights yet. I love these guys and what they can potentially do on the court. But will they do what they potentially can and save Hollywood from the walk of shame? Don’t worry Laker fans the future is shining.
